Too much ice - not enough boosters

I was really liking this game when I was getting fed up with candy crush. I thought it was challenging yet beatable. Then comes the ice. Theres waaay too many levels with ice which makes it frustrating like candy crush... Also theres one chance per day to win ONE booster (with the exception of weekends - but then its not much either.)
So Im not sure yet how long Ill put up with the ice - Im in the early 300s -- still.
