Meh.
Toy Blast is about okay. The ad Ive seen is deceptive as it attempts to make you believe that most of the boards you face are going to be 90% one continuous color (so youre going to be able to clear 90% of each of them with one tap), and I, too, find the artificial limit on the number of times you can retry a level sufficiently annoying that I simply stop playing the game. And since theres no actual randomness involved in games like this – theyre programmed to give you the blocks/balloons/whatevers they give you while making it appear random – its the developers determining not only the number of retries you get it, but whether its possible for you to complete the level at all. So the game is designed to prevent you from playing it, in hopes that youll pay money for the privilege of continuing – that is, its just another game that attempts to capitalize on your impatience.
Unfortunately for developers like this, I have plenty of patience and am willing to simply drop the game for a day or a week or until I completely forget its on my phone at all before I come back to play it again...or delete it, as the case may be.
